The king of collaboration in his industry, designer Anwar Carrots never stops creating. His incredibly successful work with countless brands and fellow artists are not just impressive in number, but in consistency. Following his move to California from the Virgin Islands at age 15, his passion for streetwear and design began after discovering the Union store on LaBrea avenue. His own designs soon followed, forming both his highly successful Carrots brand and “Peas and Carrots,” the music industry equivalent. Almost immediately following its beginning, Anwar’s talents were enlisted by the likes of Puma, Urban Outfitters, Champion, and rap superstar Freddie Gibbs.
