AFFXWRKS has built their brand by reimagining specificity for more utilitarian applications. Their collaborations explore both music and design projects. Their venture AFFXWRKS BROADCAST NETWORK (A.B.N.) presents live guest mixes and audio-visual projects, while AFFX re WRKS and AFFXWRKS CIRCULAR provide a platform for re-working products and end-of-life materials using unique processes based on the practices of collaborators. Co-founder Ray Toro started their ethos lie within, “It has always been about taking elements we want to play with and using our resources to create something exciting.” Their first pop-up came in 2017 at Dover Street Market and since then the brand has seen exponential growth.
