UNDERCOVER "CREEP VERY" 2021 AUTUMN - WINTER CAPSULE

A founding father of Japanese fashion, Undercover creates pieces that are deeply rooted within punk sub-culture and American-inspired street fashion, which is transparent with every collection the brand drops. When considering the endless sources of founder Jun Takahashi's unique inspirations, it’s no wonder why the fashion giant has gained recognition on a global scale.

The idea of being deeply rooted in Japanese culture remains ever-present in the label’s latest collection, a meticulously crafted set of pieces derived from anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. Set 15 years following a global apocalypse, protagonist Shinji becomes responsible for operating the mecha for which the show is named, a combat machine that inspires the majority of the collection’s outerwear.

Other references include graphics based off the main character, along with the uniforms worn by Evangelion’s pilots.

UNDERCOVER at LIKELIHOOD

To our great excitement at LIKELIHOOD, we are happy to reveal some of the highly coveted pieces hitting our store soon. Firstly, we will be receiving the UNDERCOVER Blouson in Purple and Yellow (UC2A4214, UC2A4213). A down jacket that is colored in a way that reminds you of characters from the Evangelion series.

Along with the Blouson Jackets, we will be getting the UNDERCOVER rain coat (UC2A4317-1) in black.  A long rain coat with a giant Evangelion unit’s helmet hood gives off a glossy texture of synthetic material and looks like a protective suit.

To compliment these jackets perfectly, we will also be getting the UNDERCOVER pants in two variations of black, and a grey. (UC2A4512, UC2A4512, UC2A4510). A relaxed fit that can easily be found throughout the capsule's collection. The Sweat pants based silhouette is the key element for almost every single pair of pants. Same color theme provides a strong match-up with the rest of the collection to complete an anime inspired total look.

To finish off our collection, we will be carrying the UNDERCOVER gloves (UC2A4G04)  in all three color ways, black, purple and ice grey. Evangelion unit inspired robotic armor gloves are the key item from the accessories section which they are both offering strong statements and accents to complete a runway look.
