Anyone who’s spent time at either of our store locations can attest to the quality of service provided by our store team.

Whether you’re dropping in to pick up a specific pair of shoes, need to make a return or exchange, or simply want to browse and ‘talk shop’, our store team has got you covered.

At Likelihood, we understand just how important the store experience is for our customers, so we want to highlight the phenomenal group of individuals who make it what it is.

They represent the best of us.

For this week's store team feature, we sat down with the store lead at our SLU location, Tracie Ramirez.

What’s your name and how long have you been with Likelihood?

My name is Tracie, and I’ve been with Likelihood since October of 2022 - so a little over 4 months!

What’s your favorite part of working in the store?

I really love interacting with my teammates as well as meeting and talking with our customers. Since a lot of people in the SLU area don’t necessarily know what kind of retailer we are, I have the privilege of getting to tell them all about Likelihood and the products we carry. I really enjoy this aspect of my job.

What are some of your favorite products and/or brands we are carrying right now?

When it comes to footwear, I feel like you can never really go wrong with Nike and Jordan. We just got a handful of Zoom Vomeros in, and the women's Oatmeal colorway is one of my favorite new releases. But in addition to those brands, I’ve really been feeling New Balance and the direction they’ve taken under Teddy Santis’ direction with MADE In USA, as well as Salomon.

What do you specifically like about Salomon?

I really like the ‘outdoorsy’ aesthetic they give off, in addition to the fact that they are really sleek. The toggle lacing is nice too - especially for someone like me who doesn’t like to tie their shoes.

Any favorite accessories?

Oliver People’s sunglasses and Tom Wood jewelry are staples for me!

And what about apparel?

I’m a big fan of all the Japanese brands we carry, especially UNDERCOVER. I started learning about them when I worked at Nordstrom, but since being with Likelihood, I’ve definitely learned a lot more. Homme Plisse is one of my favorites right now. Their pants are amazing. On a different note, you can never go wrong with Stussy and Our Legacy. I miss the Seattle chapter store :(

When it comes to your personal style, where do you get inspiration from?

I get most of my inspiration from people and music. Instagram makes it so easy to see outfits from all around the world, so I often find myself drawing inspiration from random Instagram accounts. Two accounts I’ve been liking a lot are @olhirst and @helenxto. I’m also a huge fan of Aleali May. I’m really into cozier type fits these days. Things that are looser fitting and even baggy… It’s just so comfortable.

If you could swap wardrobes with 1 celebrity who would it be?

Probably either Yoon from Ambush or Aleali May!

What do you like to do for fun?

I love listening to music. Afro beats, reggaeton, everything. I’m actually about to see Joyce Wrice in LA next month. I also really like hiking. I used to go every weekend and hope to get back to it - just waiting for the weather to get a little better… And then of course, spending time with friends and family.
